Pennywise is not giving up on the Losers Club, and this time, he is haunting the group as adults. It Chapter Two’s final trailer is out, and it is a terrifying adventure back to Derry, the tiny Maine town where the demonic, sewer-dwelling clown has preyed on kids for decades.
The trailer, which was released by Warner Bros. Pictures on YouTube, premiered a day early at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) Wednesday night, freaking out attendees in the audience, CNET reported. The movie, which takes place 27 years after the first It film, follows Bill, Mike, Beverly, Richie, Ben, and Eddie, as they return to Derry as adults and try to find the awful character before he kills anymore children.
In the trailer, each character is haunted by Pennywise in various scenarios: Bill (James McAvoy) tries to rescue a kid who runs into the demonic figure inside a funhouse, while Beverly (Jessica Chastain), visits an elderly lady who doesn’t want her to leave. There are plenty of red balloons, blood, and missing kids signs to spook out fans as well.
It Chapter Two, which also stars Bill Hader, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, and Bill Skarsgård, hits theaters on Sept. 6.
